It just feels special in a way nothing AI generated can. We treat each casting project as a hunt for something special. A treasure hunt.
Strange as it may sound, we love doing research! Finding the hard-to-find is a satisfying challenge. And we’re good at it. No matter where you’re casting, in the U.S. or internationally, we know how to tap into local talent pools and real people communities.
We are empathetic interviewers and supportive audiences. Our sensitive approach creates a safe space for real people to share their personal stories and for actors to do their best work.

Jenny O’Haver
Jenny grew up in a family of actors, poets and puppeteers. They traveled and performed around the US and Mexico, from major metropolitan cities to remote fishing villages. These beginnings ignited her love of a good story and gave her an eye for the interesting.
Casting came naturally. Jenny’s first independent casting project was for director Mark Pellington (‘Arlington Road’) on Pete Droge’s award-winning music video ‘Beautiful Girls’. This highly publicized hit had Pellington nominated for a GRAMMY and launched the opening of O’Haver + Company Casting, offering casting, on-set interviewing, and select market research services.
Since then, O’Haver + Company Casting has worked on scores of projects in both general and Hispanic markets, including national and international commercials, reality TV, music videos, voice-overs, print, television, internet content, and independent films. O’Haver + Co casts all over the United States and Canada, both virtually and on-location, with offices in Los Angeles and New York.
In addition to casting for the likes of NBC, HBO, MTV, PBS, and AMC, the indie films they teamed up on garnered awards at Sundance, Cannes, Pan-African and Pan-Asian festivals, among others. A commercial client list — many being top Fortune 500 companies — includes names like McCann, J. Walter Thompson, McGarry Bowen, Ogilvy, Apple, Verizon, Mercedes Benz, IBM, MasterCard, Coca-Cola, Staples… and on and on.
Jenny is a breast cancer survivor. She lives in California with her two beautiful sons and way too many pets.

Colleen McDonnell
Originally from the Midwest, Colleen graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota–Duluth with a BFA in Acting. Moving to Los Angeles in 2006, she almost immediately started working in casting and has been with O’Haver and Company Casting for over ten years.
She loves meeting new people, and with a passion for research and attention to detail, she looks at every project as a quest to find the perfect person for each role. As a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor’s Equity, she continues to work as an actor herself, with numerous stage, TV and commercial credits.
